POVERTY BAY V. TE AUTE.
’EhB match between the Poverty Bay representative fifteen and the To Ante team, which takes place to-morrow after-., noon at the Victoria Domain, should attract a large attendance of the public. The College team as composed wholly of natives, and she other of Europeans, and whenever the two meet a very interesting game ensues. In the past the natives have proved themselves too good for their opponents, but they will have to play up to their, best form if they would add another laurel to their wreath in the match to-morrow.
JUNIOR MATCH. The janior match will be played on No. 2 ground as usual, when Kaiti-City meet Huia. The teams will be as follows: Kaiti-City: White, Robinson, Witty, Burkett, Willock (2), R. Luttrell, Sharp, Bntlsr, Lyford, Vershoffeldt, T. Hicsey, Swainson, Ca3sidy, and P. Hickov. Huia i Pilcher, McCullough, Dodo, Panapa, Bell Campbell, Kinnimont, Walker, McDonald. Jeffreys, McCoonell, Punch, Sbarp, Tfaird ; Pardoe, W. Scott, and J. Campbell.
PRESIDENT’S CUP MATCHES.
The third grade matches start at - 1.30. West End plays Kaiti-City and Huia meots the School. West End team : - East, Sheridan, Somervell, Oman (2), Dallam, Whitfield (2), Muldoon (2), Morgan, Morice, Petersen, Marflett, Ring, Hughes, Hepburn, and McLeod. KaitiCity will be chosen from the following:— Sterman, Hardey, Pollock, Sedon, Lutfctell, Martin, Graham, O’Neill, Moore, Nonls, Heany, Clark, McConville, Dines, Richardson, Corbett, Huston, Steele, Moore.
