A STRIKE THAT FAILED
(Fen Prosa Association.) Nelson, last night. Tho men employed at Puponga ooal mine refused to work unless tho oompany oarno to oortain torms with the union, which the management absolutely declined. The striko ended to-day, however, whon all tho men turned up unconditionally. The management refused to take book tho disaffected men, but tho mine is now in fu l swing again, und everything ie quiet.
