There is rather more onquiry on the part of local millers for wheat. There is a fair quantity of grain offering, but most holders are firm iD maintaining their own ideas of values, and not a very large quantity is changing hands.,, Among the principal sales repotted are 2000 bushels of tuscan aud 350 bushels of the same variety at 2s Bd, 200 bushels mixed at 2s Bd, 100 bushels of pearl at '2s 74:1, 1000 bushels of hunters and 1000 bushels of hunters and pearl at 2s 7d, 400 bushels of hungers and tusoao at 23 6£d at count,.y stations, and 5000 bushels of pearl nt 2s 8d at *the mill. Oats are meeting with good enquiry with little offering, though a fo,v lines have changed hands thia week, including 800 bushels of milling Canadians at Is 7£d. A line of sparrowbilis and gartonß sold at Is 6d, 2000 bushels of Danish at Is 54d, and 1000 bushels of dans at Is ?d. There is no change to report in potatoes.
