The vosspl was slewed around gradually and then worked into deeper water. Shortly after one o’clock this morning tho Tawera bed reached a safe uuphorago, and by 2.45 she was berthed snugly at the wharf. Captain Palmor and those with him deserve groat credit for their offorls. A relic of the trouble at the groyne on Sunday night consisted of two iron rails which had fallen aboard the vessel, one crashing down beside the captaiu.
