The course was in fairly good order and a'tendance of tho putmo was about (hr average; The doublo event Into on the Wellington Steeplechase ona Parliamentary Handicap paid a dividend of £7B 15s. Tho sum of £10424 was put through tho uischino for the day as compared with £8650 on tho corresponding day last year. Following were the ’ results : ’
Stewards’ Handicap—Wot Reef 1, Tondergbie 2, Sardonyx 3. Scratched, Valois. Won easily by a length, two lengths boweon second and i-bird. Time 1.21 1-5. Divs, £2 Is and £2 6s. ._ Miramar Hack Handicap—Blythe Maid 1, Sir Percival 2, Onyx 3. All started. Won by u nose. Time 1.37 2-5. Divb, £2 17s and £2 10s. Wellington Steeplechase.
