TRAINING- NOTES.
It was foggy first thing at the Park Kacecourse yesterday morning, bat all the horses did good work after breakfast , ,£ ax - All ran five furlongs together in 1.9 Woodfield sprinted down the straight a couple of times. Jack o’ Lantern did usefui work and was ridden by C. O Neill. Bomany Girl cantered round once, and onoe at half speed. Mahutonga, Minerve and Manawaru ran from the mile post to the head of the straight, about am furlongs, Mahutonga and Minerve having the best of it. Whitirea and Tcha ran six furlongs together in 1.26, Whitirea finiehing in front. fnTM y f an^e^-i ongßin I ' lo - Sarilla and Martyr King did useful work. ABN went twice round at half pace, and Spyshoi did useful work. Artilleryman, Sultina and Hauiti did soma sprinting. Bocal ' o Pt !° n S'® 04 tw,oe round at half pace. Dr bcott s Scurry candidate sprinted and looks well. A grey unknown did some good work. Pua ran a useful gallop for six furloDgs, and TeUku went round twioe by himself _at half pace. Waipai ran Bix furlongs without company in 1.22, On Monday afternoon Whitirea and Borax jumped three hurdles together, Borax showing to advantage. Bomany Girl and Bady Bavoo went in company over three jumps, both performing well.
