In the egg-liaying competition at Lincoln College the ho ttest on the list for the ninth week are : Ha >:ko 31, total 148 ; Price 21, total 210 ; Ma fi 15, total 182; Tyree 16, total 165. The' total eggs laid to date are 2805. The statement for the month of June shows the following to be the highest: Hawke 113, Bda ted 97, Prioo 96, Wilder 95. ;
Blenheim, last night. The ninth week of the Now Zealand egg laying competition at Blenheim resuited: —H. Hawke, Groytown, silver 4 Wyandottes, 34, first; Miss L. Edward*, white Leghorns, 34, second; F. B. Brooke, South Australia, white Leghorns, 33, third. The average per pen woe 12 4-sthe. The results for June were :—F. B. Brooke, South Australia, white Leghorns, 123 egge, H. Leger, Levin, white Leghorns, 117 ; G. Mogxidge, buff Orpingtons, 111. Legor’e white Leghorns are now leading with 222 eggs, Brooks’ white Leghorns Beoond with 221, J. Hddson’s (Blenheim) white Leghorns third with 160. Six pane out of the hundred haye not yet laid. The total number of eggs laid to dato is 6377, last month 8972,
