Napier, last night. j A sad drowning fatality occurred at Ciivc this afternoon, resulting in the death I of a young woman named Miller, IS years of age, and her brother, a lad fourteen years old, children of Mr H. Miller,a small farmor. It i'b not known exactly how the drowning occurred, but aa the footsteps of both have been traced to the river close to which the family lived, it would seem as though the boy had wandered on to the river bank and fallen in, and that his sister had seen the occurrence and rushed to his assistance and been drowned in trying to rescue him. The stops of the young woman were wide apart as though she had been running. Tho body of the young woman was recovered, but so far the body of the boy has net been found.
