After three months’ investigatioo, and tbe testimony of one hundred witnesses at a cost of 300.000 dollsrs, tho grand jury indicted 18 officials of lour loading packing corporations, including Armour, Cudatry, Edward Morris, Ira Morris, Louis, Edward, and Charles Smith, alleging a combination to monopolise trade, illegal granting and renewal of rebates.
