When Captain Watson left sick' and wounded soldiers were streaming back, but the Japanese wers determined to go on until Russia had -ried enough. It was also determined tog make China an up-to date nation. -:l£|| Japan obtained a large indemnity from Russia she will utilise it in efforts to get | the Eastern trade in her own hands, and will no doubt succeed.
