The day after sailing she encountered a westerly gale, with high sea?, off Capo Brett, Heavy rolling caused tho fore topmsrt to break off. All the spars and gear fell cn deck and were saved. The gale lasted till Wednesday last. The vessel was hove-to moat of the time. The bull sustained no damage. This is Captain Urquhart’s first command.
