MISS NELLIE STEWART
AND MR - GEORGE MUSGROVE’S NEW ENGLISH DRAMATIC COMPANY.
Particulars are advertised to-day of arrangements completed by Mr George Musgcovo for Mies Nellie Stewart and Mr Musgrove’s New English Dramatio Company, to give four special performances in Gisborne, commencing Wednesday evening next, July sth. On Wednesday and Thursday evenings, tho first two night 3, “ Sweet Nell of Old Drury ” will be performed, with Miss Nellie Stewart as Sweet Nell, a character now made famous throughout tho colonies by Miss Stewart’s brilliant huccbss wherever played. On Friday, July 7tb, “ Old Heicjelborg will be produced. This play is one of tho principal recent successes of England, Germany, and America, being a pretty and brilliantly writton story of German students’ life. On Saturday, July Bth, the last night of the season, “ Pretty Peggy ” will be performed. The artists supporting Miss Stewart were specially engaged by Mr George Musgrove for this tour during his reeont visit to England, and all the plays of tho season will be mounted and produced in the same elaborate and com* plete manner that distinguishes Mr George Musgrove’s productions in Australia . and England.
