NAUTICAL ENQUIRY

I (Par Press Association.) Christchurch, last night.I An enquiry was held at Lyttelton to-day-before Mr Bishop, S.M.. and Captaine Beanie and Cameron, nautical assessors into the stranding of the auxiliary screw [ schooner Emma Sims at Karamea on March 19th. Evidence was given that the engine was defective, rendering working uncertain. The Court decided thatthe mishap was accidentally caused, and no blame was attachable to anyone- The* certificates of all parties concerned were returned to them.
