The grand vocal and inslrumenta recital to bo hold at His Majesty’s Theatre to-morrow evouiog in aid of tho Gisborne Beautifying Association promisee a splendid evenmg’s entertainment, and is deserving of every support. The recital is under the direction of Mr A. ,T. Massey, who has secured the services of Miss Lynn Mill--, the talented Sydney soprano, Mr Dudley Trent (baritone), and other vocalists.
Falhor Hays, temperaneo lecturer, arrived from South yesterday morning. Ho was wolcomr-d by tbo Mayor and prominent prohibitionists. His first Gisborno lecture will be given at His Majesty’s Theatre to-night. Tho doors will bo open at 7 o’clock and holders of tickets are requested so bo present at half past seven. The admission to orchestral stalls will bo by tbo side door. A large number of tickets have been sold, end those desiring to attend should obtain tickets this maiming.
