is hereby given that the Waikohu Road District Board proposes to raise a Loan under “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for the purpose of erecting a cart bridge across the Waipaoa river, at the Kanaekauae crossing. The sum proposed to be borrowed is £SOOO. The security to be given is a Special Rate of One-lith of a Penny in the £ on the rateable value of all rateable property comprised within a Special District as hereinafter defined, for a period of 41 year 3. The rate of interest to be 4 per cent per annum. It is proposed to pay the cost of raising the loan and the interest for one year out of the loan moneys. A Meeting of the Ratepayers within this Special District will be held at the Boad Board Office. Te Karaka, on SATURDAY, July 22, at 2 pm. The Chairman of the Board will preside.

BOUNDARIES OF DISTRICT. Commencing at a point on tlxe Waikohu river, being the intersection of the western boundary of Poututu Block 2,4, 82, and proceeding thence by the centre of that river lo the Waipaca river, thence by the centre of that river to the Bangatira ford at Karaka, thenco by the centre of the main road to its intersection with the western boundary of the Buangarehn Block, thence by that boundary to the centre of the Waipaoa river, thence towards the south-east by the centre of that river to the southwestern boundary of the Ngakoroa No. 2 Block, thence towards the north-east by a public road to the Mangataikehu stream, thence by the centre of that stream and the centre of the Tapuitara and the Hurunui streams to the southern boundary of the Papakorokoro Block, thence by the southern and eastern boundaries of that block and the Waihora No. 2 Block to the Urumatai stream, thence easterly by a right line to a point b ing the production of a right line drawn from trig 134 to trig 129, thence by aright Uno to tiig 13«, thence by another right line to trig 103, thence by a right line to trig Tangihanga, thence norih-weaterly by a right line to the western boundary of Tntamoe No. 1 Block, thence south-werterly by the boundaries of that block and the Waipaoa No. No. ila Block, thenco south-easterly by the south-western boundaries of that block to the Waingaromia itream, thpnce by the centre of that stream to the WaHangi stream, thence westerly by the boundaries of Waiiangi No. 1, No. 2c, No. 2b Blocks, aud tbo f-akake-a-Whirikoka Block to the centre of the Waipaoa river, thence southerly by the centre of that river to its junction with ilia Wbeeo stream, thence northerly and westerly by the centre cf that stream to a point being the intersection of a line being th oeastern boundary cf Block XI?., Msngatu Survey District, tber.ee northerly by that lino to the Urukokcmoko stream, thcDCe by the centre of that stream to the northern boundary of Poututu BG Block, thence easterly by the boundaries Of Poutuvu Block to the north-west corner or that b’oek, therce southerly by the western boundary of Poututu Block lo the IVaikobu river, tie point of commencement.
