SATURDAY’S LAND SALE.

A important sale of To Karaka sections was held by’ Messrs Williams and flattie on Saturday, when they offered the'vtmoie of Mr G. Blew Chow’s land at Ts Karaka. Lots 1 and 2, containing 2 roods each, were. - bought by Messrs Williams and Kettle at £IOO each, and lot 3 (2 roods) was secured by Mr C P. Davies at £IOO. Lot 4 (2 roods) was sold to Mr C. Foote for £IOO. There was keen competition for the section 2 roods 20 perches, situated directly site the Te Karaka hotel, which was sold subject to a lease of thirteen years. The property was secured by the leasee, Mr T. Evinsou, for £430. Tho remaining lots were passed.
