New Plymouth, last night. „ Operations at the oil well have been sus--pended for two or three days. They wero-resumod this morning, when a column of mud, impregnated with oil shot up about fifty feet, and continued until the cap was fixed on tho bore. Water'-* and oil ore now issuing freely. Tho manager is convinced that he haß a payable well.
