Received 10.30 p.m., June 15. June 15. The Duchess of Westminster’s jewels were unearthed in a field at Cambridge. A former nightwatchman at Grosvenor House and a tailor at Cambridge have been arrestod. Alfred Fossick, a solicitor at Maidenhead, has been sentenced to five years for misappropriating £12,000, proceeds of a lady’s estate. Received 10.40 p.m., June 15. Sydney, June 15. The Lord Mayor, at a large gathering, officially welcomed the New Zealand association footballers. Tho first match will be played on Saturday against the Metropolitan team. Mr H. C. Anderson, head of the Government Information Bureau, has been appointed New South Wales commissioner to the Christchurch Exhibition.
