Ghorikaris, a professional gambler, stabbed M. Dolyannis, Premier of Greece at the entrance to the Ohambor of Deputies. Ho was arrested. The motive was reveDge for closing the gambling houses. M. Dolyannis succumbed. Ghorikaris, who was formerly sentenced to 18 years’ imprisonment for wife murder, kissed M. Dolyannis’ hand, and then stabbed him in the stomach. There was a great demonstration of grief in Athens, 20,000 following tho corpse from tho rosidonco.
