PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

(Per Press Association.) Napier, last night, The Presbytery of Hawke’s Bay met at Waipukurau this afternooo, and sustained a call from the Waipukurau congregation in favor of the Rev. J. Patterson, of Akaroa. The Revs. John McKenzie and Thomas McDonald were appointed to represoot the Presbytery in the Presbytery of Christohurch. A new Presbyterian church was opened at Norsewood on Sunday last. Tho opening ceremony was performed by the Rev. Jameß Paterson, of Wellington.
