BUTTER FREIGHTS.
.(Per Press Association.) Wellington, last night. The New Zealand and African Steamship Company, which holds the contract for the West of England service, announce a reduction of butter freights for ports in the west of tho United Kingdom from three farthings to nine-sixteenths of a penny per lb.
