Mr Taylor, I M.H.R., oontondod that tho prioo to bo paid should not oxoood tho prosont market value of tho Bhares, which is £225,000. On tho motion of the Mayor, a oommittoo of tho Counoil was sot up to consider the advisability of purchasing the company’s I property.
