He strongly urged the Council shojuljd give the State a I share of its insurance., i The Mayor, said the Fi!na|uce Committee considered the quesiiiiou, last month, and decided to continue to effect insurances with the local coinpanics, there Weiin'g no reasjonl for alteration, the companies being a credit to the city. Cr Farrell seconded the Mayor’s motion on the ground that the Government would, not take the whole Yisik, and other cdmipjaniies would refuse to share with] them. The Town Clerk said the insurances expired next September, and the Mayor thought it would be soon enough to consider the matter then. . The Mayor’s suggestion was adopted.
