The nama of the applicant is Mr William Lee Bees, of Gisborne, Solicitor. ,

Tho roads poposed to be crossed are :—(1) The main County road, from eastern side of tho Ka'aka Kailway Station to the Rangatira Ford; thence to the Puhatikotiko crossing of the Waipaoa river and the road from the ford to the Wbatatutu road; (2) the road from the western side of the Karaka Railway Station to the Waikohu bridge, thence across the bridge, by way of the VVhatatutu road, to Topuihikitea C Block. /

A plan of the route of the tramway may be inspected at the office of the Counoil, Lowe Street, Gisborne, daily, during office hours.* The Council will sit to hear objections to tbe proposal to construct this tramway, on FRIDAY, July 7th, 1905, at 2 o'clock p.m. A memorial of objection to granting this license signed by any ratepayer may he deposited at this office until 5 o’clock p.m. on ihe 3rd July, 1905, and objectors must be prepared to give evidonce before the Counoil on the 7th July, 1905. at 2 o'olock p.m. JOHN WARREN, Clerk.
