THE TRAM ACCIDENT.
(Per Press Association.)' Christchurch, last night. A report regarding the accident at the opening of the tramway to Papanni on Monday was submitted by the traffic manager to the Board to-day. Tho report was taken in committee, and on resuming the chairman stated the Board had decided that it regretted it was unable to see its way to rc-instato the driver concerncck as a motorman.
