FATAL ACCIDENT.
(Per Press Association.) Waihi, last night. A shocking fatality occurred in the Waihi mine last night. John Loft, a miner, fell out of the cage during tho ascent pitching headlong to the bottom, a distance of 450 ft. His body was fearfully manglod, his head being smashed to a pulp. He leaves a wife and three young children.
