(Pec Press Association:.} Auckland, last night. The Auckland Baoing Club’s winter meeting commenced yosterday. The weather was Bhowery, but the attendance was good. The amount put through the totalisator was £BB4B. Toe results were Maiden Steeplechase—Ludo 1, Lingard 2, Terrance 3. All started. Won by five lengths. Time, 4.55. X)ivs., £5 4e and Maiden Welter Handicap—Bookby 1, Pukehoho 2, Lunox 3. Scratched : Air Gun, Lady Clements, Star of the South, and Loch Tyne. Won by a neck. Time, 1.35. Divs., £3 6s and £8 15a. Great Northern Hurdle Race.
