L . Blenheim, last night. the fifth week of the New Zealand Egg Laying Competition two additional pens joined in and the nnmber of pens without an egg decreased to 26. The total number of eggs for the week was 601 against 394 for the previous week The grand aggregate is 1632. H. Leger’a white Leghorns, from Levin, Jars leading with 114, and Brooks’ whits Leghorns from booth Australia are second with 105 Harry Creber’s silver Wyandoftes from Westport third with 94, Jonathan Hodson s white Leghorus from Blenheim are fourth with 68.
