THE HOLIDAY.
PRINCE OF WALES , BIRTHDAY (SATURDAY, Junk 3rd).
The Post and Telegraph Department will observe the Prince of Wales Birthday as a holiday. The Chief Post Office, Gisborne, will open in all branches, exoept the Money Order and Savings Bank, from 8 a.m. to 10; a.m. Mails usually despatched on Saturdays will close at 7 a.m. • - There will be a delivery of letters from the wicket (private box entrance) from 8 a.m, to 10 a.m. The Telegraph Office will bo open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., also from 7 p.m, to 8 p.m. The Telephone Exchange observe the nsual hours, viz,, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. W.
