HANSEN—ROYTHORNE. "* At Dannevirke on Friday last a very pretty wedding took place at tho residence of Mr Roland Roythorne, when Mr Peter Maurice Hansen, oldest son of Mr Christian Hansen, of Motu, was united in the bonds cf holy matrimony to Miss Caroline , Mabel Roythorne, second daughter of Mr Roland Roythorne, of Dannevirke. The eoremony was performed by the Rev. E. Robertsbawe. The bride was attended by Misses G. Hansen and Bertha Roythorne, whilst Mr A. Roythorne officiated in th 6~ capacity of best man. The happy couple were the recipients of many handsome prrsents and much congratulation. Mr and Airs Hansen arrived in Gisborne on Saturday, and left for tho Motu yester*'” day.

File, I Roebuck road, on Sunday, the marriage of Mr George Russell, of Waimato, to Miss j Florence File, third daughter of Mr W- L. | File, of Gisborne, was solemnised, tho ceremony being performed by the Rev. G. Houosell in the presence of a large number of rolatives and frioods. Tho bride was attended by Miss Hilda File, and Mr F. jj Fox was best man. Afternoon tea was • provided. Tho happy couple left for the South by tho Taluno.
