THE HOLIDAY.
PBINOE OF WALES BIBTHDAY (SATUBDAY, June 3rd). The Post and Tolegraph Department will observe the Prince of Wales Birthday as a holiday. The Chief Post Office, Gisborne, will open in all branches, except the Money Order and Savings BaDk, from S a.m. to 10 a.m. Mails usually despatched on Saturdays will close at 7 a.m. There will be a delivory of letters from tho wicket (private box entrance) from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The Telegraph Office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., also from 7 p.m, to 8 p.m. The Telephone Exchange observe the usual hours, viz., 7 n.m. to 11 p.m. I W.
