Tho captain alleged that an orgau,"Aisation exists in China for sanding men to Australia, and that, desipite ’ the watchfulness, a considerable number manago to land. He also stated that officers o£ ships . . trading between Australia and China were frequently ottered bribes to assist Chineso landing in tho Commonwealth.
