(Per Press Association.) Christchurch, last night. Tho official opening of the electric tramways has been fixed for June sth.
Tha Government intend establishing a Maternity Homo in this city, and a report is being made on two sites under offer. Leonard Willis, a youth, pleaded guilty at the Police Court to a number of charges of breaking and entering aud stealing from dwellings, and was committed for sentence to the Supreme Court.
