(Per Press Association.) Blenheim, last night. This aftornoon the oil launch Minnibaha, bound from Port Underwood to Blenheim, capsized wbilo crossing the bar of tho Wairau river. Four men who wore on board were thrown into tho water, aud doubtless there would have been a fatal result if tho accideut had not been seen from the pilot station. Captain Fisk, tho pilot, manned another oil launch, with whioh a prompt rescue was effected Tho engineer of the trawler Phantom was picked up in nn exhausted condition. The Phantom’s machinery was on board, and wbb lost. Thoro probably will be trouble to lift tho oil launch on to the beach in the morning.
