Six for 62. Rhodes was 22, and had made some good hits. Myers partnered him, only to see Rhodes caught by Noble at deep square leg off Laver, Seven for 65. Hawks was bowled second ball by Laver without sccr* ing, tho total showing no change. Rmgroso contributed four and then Howell sent his middle stump spinning. Nino for 73. Hunter was the last maD, and scored three; when ho was caught by Trumper at short leg. Myers, who hud seen four men retire while ho was making five, oarriod out his bat, Five wickets fell in 35 minutes after luncheoD, the bowling on the broken wicket being splendid.
