EXTRAORDINARYELEGTION.

.'(Per Frosts ’Association.) New Plymouth, last night. The election of the Stratford High School Committee was upset by the Edueation Board on the petition of 27 householders, including thrse of the present Committees and throe unsuccessful candidates. on the grounds that the voting papers wore irregularly issued. They wore handed to various householders m batches. Sevoral persons filled in the names on five or six papers. The result deo'arod was not the resalt shown by the papers, which, since the election, were recounted by others than scrutineers. The chairman* sta ed three candidates tied, and gave his oastmg vote the following morning.
