JAPAN’S HOUSE TAX.

London, May 23. The Hague Arbitration Tribunal has decided that Japan is not entitled to levy house tax on buildings situated in British, French, and German concessions held under perpetual lease, or impose any impost on such lands unloss expressly stipulated in tho leases.
