He contended that his name was Robinson, but returning to the oell admitted that it was Edwards. Ho stated that he and Skioner were travelling together. Skinner -returned from a “ hazard ” school in a bad temper owing to losing money. Edwards chaffed Skinner, who, in a rage, seized a shovel and tried to strike Edwards. The latter snatched the axe, and with one blow split Skinner’s skull. He cut bp the body and went on a drinking bout. He sold Skinner’s horse and cart.
