ROCJKFELLER’S GIFT. (Per R.M.S. iVentura, at Ancklanfi..) San Francisco, May 27. A despatch from Boston nnder date April 15th states that the American Baptist Missionary Society has acoepted a gift of 200,000 dollars from Mr John D. Rookfeller. The treasurer (Mr Perkins) of the sooiefiy stated at a meeting that another 100,000 dollars was also at the disposal of the Missionary Union solely for the erection of mission buildings in foreign countries. Neither gift, the treasurer added, was voluntary, but had been solioited by officers of the Union in order to raise funds to meet the growing necessity for the work iu which' the Union is engaged.

A wheat cargo, Australian, sold at 31s 3d, and two cargoes at 31s 4£d. • , Sheep : Best North Island, 3 15-16 d ; lambs, North Island, 5Jd ; all others unchanged. .
