• The Union Company’s s.s. Mararoa ■ arrives from Southern ports this morning aod sails for Anoklaad and Sydney at 10 a.m. The first launch leaves - the the.wharf at 6.30. The following passengers booked for north—Misses Wallace, Best, Orr, Butler, Frith, ftitohiojMeSr dames Colwill, Peebles and three children, Ford and son, Widdowson; Messrs. Bloomfield, Marquand, Kirkwood, Tattley, Longland, Stokes, Bartlett, Taklo, Ur. Coom. The Union Company’s s.s. Talune arrives from Auckland to morrow afternoon, and sails for the South in the evening.

The barquentino River Huntsr sails for Whangape to-day to load for Sydney. The scow Haeremai, after lying in port >. almost a month, was successfully beaohed at Whaogara on Thursday morning. She ' landed.her cargo and was re-floatad early yesterday morning, and then proceeded north. I I The Canterbury Shipping Coy’s s.s. Storm is expected here to-day. The Union Coy’s s.s.
