The Native Minister yesterday y- received a telegram from the relatives of - gome of the' members, protesting against their departure on various grounds. The men who eompose the troupe left their

homes at a few hours’ notice, and none of *Y£hem are provided with outfits for the voyage to' England. Under the circumctances it has been decided to abandon tho drip for tho present, and the natives will , return to Poverty Bay.
