An Upper House convocation resolved, on the motion of Bishop Gore, that it was desirable that .bishops should bo authorised, upon an incumbontls application, with sufficient reason shown, to dispense with the public recitation of the Athanasian Creed. It was further agreed to defer final judgment regarding the Creed until after the Lambeth Conference. Mr James, Westralian Agent-General, addressed the Australasian Chamber of Commerce on “ Australasian Agricultural Developments.” Since the crisis of 1893 the progress had abundantly justified the legislation. The Australasian voter was not Socialistic merely, but judged the particular measures on their merits,
