The Admiralty, announcing the postponement of manoeuvres, explained that they might cause inoonvenienoe if executed in June aB plsnned, and unless executed entirely would fail to give the leßsons desired to be inoaloated.
Much public comment has been occasioned by the fact that Mr Balfour and Lord Lansdowne met the King when ho arrived fram Paris, this proceeding being followod by the announcement of the postponement of the naval manoeuvres.
