(Her Press Association.) i Dunedin, last night. It was decided to forward the resolutions to the Minister for Education, the local members of Parliament and other Boards. The pupil teachers’ regulations were considered, and it was decided to forward them to the Department for approval. The Chief Inspector reported having conferred with the Inspector-General, when alterations wore agreed on that instead of a one eutrauco examination there should
be three. Those who begau at the beginning on a four year course had te pase the Board’s entrance examination, those who entered on the Civil Service examination were appointed ns third year pupil teachers (serving throe years), and those who entered upon the matriculation ex animation served two yeßrs. Then there was a revision to the old order, whereby a pupil teacher who failed twice in succession to pass tbo Civil Servico examination was dispensed with, >.
