THE KAEO.

The three-masted auxiliary schooner ilaeo arrived from Auckland via way ports yesterday afternoon. Captain Skinner reports that the vessel left Auckland on Tuesday night, and had a good run until Whale Island was reached on Thursday morning. A strong westerly wind kept the vessel under the shelter of the island until Friday night. On the following morning Tekaha, Omaio, and a number of minor places were worked. Bakakuri was landed on Sunday, and Hick’s Bay was reached on Monday at daylight. The Kaeo left at 8 o’clock, East Cape was passed at 10, and Port Awanni was reached at noon. Tnparoa and Waipiro were landed on Tuesday. On Wednesday a strong south-east wind sprung up, and the vessel sheltered under Tawhiti. The fol- - owing day Tokomaru was worked, and

-Lolago Bay was reaohed the same evening. Friday was fine, but the sea was too heavy to work. Tolago was landed on Haturday afternoon and yesterday morning. The vessel left Tolago at 8 a.m., worked Boisel'e and Pakarae, and arrived at the wharf at 5 o’clock last evening.
