Mr Reid, Federal Promier, in an address on the political situation, said ho would conduct useful business as long a 9 possible. V"When ho found it impossible, he would -appeal to the country. His policy in future would bo to increase the attractiveness of Australia to moo and money from abroad, increaso the development of natural re* sources, keep men in the country and not 1 in the towns, and restore oonfidonoo in Australia.
