Sydney, April 27. At bowling Victoria beat New South Wulos by 96 to 82, and thus won tho rubber.
At the yearling saloi there was a large attondanoo and active competition. A Grafton-Scotch Mary colt, half brother to Groat Soott, brought 1420 guineas; a Wallaoe-Monah colt, 1250 guineas; two oolts bolonging to J. B. Reid, New Zealand, sold for 80 and 75 guineas, and a filly for 80 guiaeas. Mr Craig, of Now I Zealand, bought a half-sister to Dewoy for 85, and Mr Simmer a New Star cold for 160 guineas. At Homebusb sale prices all round | showed considerable decline. Crossbreds 1 were scarce. I Arrived, the Langlon GraDge, from New I Zoaland.
Melbourne, April 27. Hides: A small supply was offered. Kips are quarter per cent lower; scoured and sloppy aro neglected. Tallow is in brisk domand and has advanced 10 per cent. Sailed; Tho Waipara for Durban, and Monowai.
