I Accounts from various cities tell a tale I of severe damage to property arising from I the earthquakes on the morning of April I 4th, but it is impossible as yet to estimate I the extent of the loss of life. Beports inI dicate that Dharmsala felt the full force lof tho shock. The deaths include C. W. Loxton, who only the previous day had assumed the office of District Judge from j | Captain Elliott, who, with his family, left the same day, escaping the shook. Mrs Boxton’s fate is not known.
