The results were : ' . , , Hurdles—Probus 1, Avondale 2, Niebel 8. Won by three lengths. Time 4.56£. Autumn Stakes —Emir 1, Gladsome 2, Overdale 8. Betting, 6t04 on Gladsome, 6to 2 against Emir. Emir joined issue with the favorite opposite the St. Leger stand, and after a great race homo won by a short neck. Time, 2.404. Sires Produoe Stakes —Binnia 1, Lady Wallaoe 2, Charleß Stuart 3. Won easily. Time, 1.14 3-6. Doncaster Handicap—Famous 1, Mack 2, Boabdil 3. All the acceptors started. Betting, 8 to 1 Marvel Booh, 8 to 1 Mack 10 to 1 Ibex, 20 to 1 Famous. Famous and Maok moved to the front entering tho straight, and a great finish between tho pair resulted in half a length win for Famous. Time, 1.40. St. Leger Stakos —Dividend 1, Lord Fitzroy 2, The Hawker 8. Botting, 9to 4 on Dividend. Won by four lengths. Time, 8.5.
High Weight Handicap—Sleeper 1, Hollette 2, Tremayr 8. Won by two lengths, Time, 1.16. (Per Press Association.) , Auckland, Saturday. The Auckland Bacing Club’s autumn meeting commenced to-day. The weather was fine and tho attendance good. The amount put through the totalisator was £9202. . Besults:
