AN EXHIBITION.
THE SITE AND BUILDINGS. [(Pec Press Association:.) Christchurch, last-night. Mr J. W. A. Merchant, Surveyor-Gene-ral, and Mr 3". Campbell, colonial architect, were engaged to-day in examining a site for the exhibition buildings; and in arranging for a topographical map of the site. The leading architects in the colooy and Australia are to bo invited to submit competitive designs for the buildings and for the lay-out of the grounds.
